Getting to Waterside Festival

The event will be taking place in the canalside public space, surrounded by Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, Waitrose, Travelodge and University Campus Aylesbury Vale.

Aylesbury is one of the original six national cycling towns and has a great network of cycle routes allowing you to cycle in to the town centre from a number of nearby areas and villages.

Once in the town centre you will find over 250 free cycle parking stands, including at The Exchange and University Campus Aylesbury Vale (close to the Waterside Festival action!), making it a quick, cheap, convenient and healthy travel option!

By Road

Aylesbury is easily accessible by car from other nearby towns and cities including Oxford, Bicester, Buckingham and High Wycombe.

Driving from the M25 – leave the motorway at junction 20 and take the A41 to Aylesbury & Hemel Hempstead. Follow signs to Aylesbury and, once in Aylesbury, to the town centre.

Driving from the M40 – leave the motorway at junction 8a and take the A418 to Aylesbury. Follow signs to Aylesbury and, once in Aylesbury, to the town centre.

By Rail

Aylesbury railway station is on the  Chiltern Railways  line approximately 60 minutes from London Marylebone and easily accessible from High Wycombe and Haddenham & Thame Parkway to the south or Bicester North, Banbury and Birmingham to the north.

Waterside is less than a 10 minute walk from Aylesbury railway station. Follow the signs from the town centre to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.

Parking

Aylesbury has a range of short term and long term car parks, as well as ample Blue Badge parking and a Shopmobility scheme located in and around the town centre.

Once in Aylesbury town centre, follow the signs to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
